Tongo Rad is definitely but choice for band name of the month.
If the drummer of that band plays percussion nas out of sync with the music track as the real Rad then they're in trouble.

We reach! I'm just hoping to get my hands on that crazy string wheel! (wheel harp?)--Wild sound out of that revolver, man.
Know I also know that a Vulcan Lute sounds like a combination of a Gibson clean electric and a transistor organ--with a little pedal harp thrown in. I would bet cash money that its "chord section" one of those late-60's Yamaha solid-state organs, which were more expensive (i.e. less cheezy tone) than my beloved VOX or Farfisa combo boxes.
